WIE Welcomes Madeline Kirk as the new Graduate Assistant for Outreach Programs!

Madeline received her Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Maryland this past spring. She is currently pursuing a Master's degree, also in Aerospace Engineering. She will be responsible for the KEYs, GSES and SSTYF programs. Please stop by and help us welcome Madeline!

WIE is Hiring!

The Women in Engineering program is hiring a Federal Work Study student for the 2008-2009 school year. Please visit our office - 1134F Glenn L. Martin Hall for an application.

WIE Program wins National Award!

Girl Scout Engineering Saturday (GSES), a University of Maryland Women in Engineering Program, has won the 2008 National Engineer's Week Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day Award!

The fall GSES program will be held in early October. Visit the GSES website soon for more information.

Women's Community Website Launched

A new addition to the Clark School website called "Women's Community" has been launched and lists the Clark School's women faculty, staff, students and alumni.
The site also highlights accomplishments as well as providing resources.
