Truthfully, choosing computer engineering at the University of Maryland
was one of the easiest choices I've had to make in several years. My
brother, John, a recent electrical engineering graduate,
significantly influenced my decision to attend Maryland. I have always
enjoyed tinkering with computer hardware and software.
Though I have only completed one semester so far, I feel that I can
easily consider myself part of the Maryland community. I am a member of
Inventis: Academy of Engineering Leadership, the Maryland Chapter of IEEE( Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers), and the University Honors program. During winter break, I started my first
engineering internship at DfR Solutions, an engineering analysis and
reliability consulting firm.
In my free time I enjoy playing Ultimate Frisbee and football on
McKeldin Mall, playing paintball, drumming, and working out in the
Eppley Recreation Center
