About a semester into my freshman year at the University of Maryland , I decided to transfer into the engineering school from journalism. Since then, I have become involved in the Women in Engineering program, the Environmental Studies College Park Scholars program, and Alpha Omega Epsilon, an international engineering sorority. Currently, I am majoring in civil engineering, with a concentration in environmental and water resources engineering. I hope to get involved with air and water pollution control, and potentially work on irrigation systems in developing countries around the world.
In my free time, I enjoy exploring one of the best aspects of the University of Maryland - its proximity to DC. I also never miss a soccer or basketball game. Go Terps!
