Year: Sophomore
I am really excited to be a part of the first class of bioengineers at the University of Maryland . Math and science were always my better subjects in high school, so engineering was a natural choice for me. Being a student of the A. James Clark School of Engineering has opened up opportunities for me in other disciplines also. I was a member of the regional champion Mock Trial team last year, and this year I am a member of the Student Honor Council, the university's student-run judiciary. I have also been a counselor for Terp Engineers and Discovering Engineering, which are summer camps for middle and high school students to learn about engineering. In my free time I like to read books, draw, and run.
