As a first year student at the University of Maryland and the Honors Program here, I have engaged in a number of opportunities available to Terrapin students. The A. James Clark School has greatly encouraged my enthusiasm for engineering with the college's introductory classes, and I became a member of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics—a professional society for my major of Aerospace Engineering. I am also an active member of Women in Engineering as well as the Greek Life on campus with my sorority, Alpha Omicron Pi. If I'm not in any of the campus's eight libraries, you can be sure to find me at Terp athletic games.
