I have always loved math, and I wanted it to be a major part of my
career, but I was not sure how. Another love, creating things, got me
interested in Engineering, and when I found out about Electrical
Engineering I knew I had found the career for me. This past summer I
worked at the National Institute for Standards and Technology as a part
of their Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship, and had to
opportunity to participate in scientific research first hand. I am a
member of Inventis: Acadmey of Engineering Leaders here at UMD, and am
involved with IAESTE. I enjoy travelling, am minoring in International
Engineering and plan to study abroad in Australia in the Fall. I also
play multiple intramural sports and love to attend events at CSPAC.
