Allie Carey

I learned about the engineering program here before I entered my senior year of high school. I quickly became interested in the Fire Protection Engineering program. Currently, I am doing research in the department with professors and grad students to explore alternative fuels and their interaction with the public.

I am also involved in the Women in Engineering Mentoring program, the Pi Mu Epsilon Mathematics Honor Society, and the Honors Program here at the University of Maryland. I love the outdoors, arts and crafts, planning events, and traveling.
