Daniela Bilmanis

My first hands on experience with the Clark School of Engineering was during the RISE summer program before my freshman year. RISE stands for Research Internships in Science and Engineering, and it is a program run by the Women in Engineering program. During my experience at RISE, I met my roommate and earned an appreciation for how great the Clark School is. Since then, all of the opportunities that the school presents never cease to amaze me.

I love problem solving and hands on projects, and through the class I have taken I’ve gotten to build a bridge de-icing system, a truss, and an I-beam. While I enjoy engineering, I also love to spend time with my friends and going on road trips to visit friends at other schools.
