Elizabeth Whyms

My name is Karam Hijji, I am a junior Material Science and Engineering student. My favorite class so far has been Material Structure Characterization Lab.
I am part of the Material Advantage group as well as the Material Engineering Society.
I have had two engineering internships here at Maryland. The first is currently with Dr. Seog (joint professor in bioengineering and material engineering), and I just finished researching polyaniline coated stents. Last summer I researched with Dr. Payne doing work with bioadhesives.

Some of my favorite activities include hiking, watching and playing soccer, snowboarding, and traveling.
