Name: Brittany JohnsonMajor: Mathematics
Year: Junior
Brittany is a junior majoring mathematics. She has been part of BES since freshman year. As member of BES, she participated at Hotdog sales, step team, PCI Day, and Engineering Day. On Engineering Day 2009, she taught middle school students how to use the program SCRATCH. Currently, she is the secretary of SCORE and head of the SCORE newsletter committee. She is part of homecoming committee for 2008 and 2009 year.

Michael L. Cherry Scholarship is awarded annually to an engineering student (open to sophomores through seniors) at the University of Maryland for their leadership, participation and academic achievements throughout their high school and college years.
