ASCE stands for the American Society of Civil Engineers. Founded in 1852, it is the oldest national professional engineering society in the United States.  ASCE strives to keep its members on the cutting edge of technology. ASCE publishes technical books and papers, and sponsors conferences to advance the civil engineering profession.

The UMD College Park Chapter connects civil engineering students with other students, employers, and opportunities for real-world engineering applications. Learn more about who we are and what we do by visiting our About page and Membership page. To get involved in the Concrete Canoe 2009 project, visit our Projects page.  Come visit us in 1103 EGR!
