WHAT: The Leaders in Mechanical Engineering Lecture Series reveals the future of advanced engineering products and systems. The A. James Clark School of Engineering Department of Mechanical Engineering has invited leading engineers from academia, industry and government to discuss cutting-edge advances.

WHO: Professor Bongtae Han of the University of Maryland is a developer of the portable engineering moiré interferometer, and will discuss recent developments of optical methods used as tools for electronic packaging product development.  Han will illustrate selected applications in design evaluation, failure analysis, and verification of numerical modeling.
