WHAT: The Transforming Energy Lecture Series opens discussions about the engineering challenges of developing breakthrough energy technology for a sustainable future. The A. James Clark School of Engineering has invited leading thinkers and technologists from academia, industry and government to provide viewpoints on these challenges.

WHO: Dr. Jefferson Tester is the H.P. Meissner Professor of Chemical Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). For three decades, he has been involved in chemical engineering process research as it relates to renewable and conventional energy extraction and conversion and environmental control technologies.
