Dear Clark School Alumni,
 It's the time of year for taking stock—for appreciating the things that mean the most to us. I hope you'll give some thought this year to the Clark School, as we embark with the University on the largest fundraising effort in our history, the aptly named Great Expectations campaign.
Great Expectations will be a crucial factor in the Clark School's continued rapid success. Providing funds for scholarships, fellowships, professorships and exciting new programs and facilities, the campaign will make our endowment more closely match those of the top five public engineering programs, and provide vital impetus for us to join those ranks.
We are well on our way toward the school's campaign goal of $185 million—the single largest portion within the University's $1 billion goal—but the participation of all of our alumni and friends will be needed to complete the job.
In this regard you have great Clark School models to emulate. It is my pleasure to share with you a new video, called “Signature Contributions,” that shows how five people linked their names to some of the school's most innovative programs and facilities. Your own dreams for the school may lie in supporting a new engineering student services center, graduate student fellowships, a new energy research center, the Keystone program, a new center for technology entrepreneurship, or another of the school's major priorities.
