Here Are Creative Ideas You Can Use Right Now

Space Out – Help fund a new gathering space for electrical and computer engineering students in A.V. Williams. Investment: $10,000.

Let's Confer – Send an Engineers Without Borders student to the organization's national conference to present the University chapter’s accomplishments. Investment: $1,200.

Aim High Help high-achieving Gemstone Program students travel to professional conferences to present research findings and make important contacts for the future. Investment: $5,000.

A Fresh Perspective – Supply electronics project kits for the new "Explore Electronics" course for freshmen in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Investment: $5,000 each.

Let the Sun Shine – Send an Engineers Without Borders student to Burkina Faso to construct a solar-powered water pumping system for subsistence gardening. Investment: $2,300.

Tow Hold – Help Terps Racing purchase a vehicle for towing their race cars to events. Investment: $2,500.

Windows on the World – Provide funding for new windows in the Electrical and Computing Engineering Teaching Labs and create a brighter learning environment. Investment: $3,000 each.

Turn Over a New Leaf – Provide "seed  money" for landscaping plants and materials for the university’s Solar Decathlon team in their next competition. Investment: $4,500 or 20 gifts of $225.

Feel the Heat – Provide infrared cameras to a mechanical engineering class for demonstrating heat transfer and electromagnetic energy. Investment: $8,000.
