This award was instituted by the Clark School to recognize exceptionally influential research accomplishments by its faculty.
Professor Ashwani K. Gupta, mechanical engineering, won this award in 2006 for his outstanding contributions in improving the combustion process, thus enhancing efficiencies and reducing pollution from a wide variety of fuels.
