Join professional engineers from the transportation industry for a panel discussion of their experiences. Women representing a variety of sectors will share their secrets of success. Learn how to optimize your potential from those who have accomplished their goals. RSVPs are appreciated (please email pesmith@umd.edu). The panel discussion will begin at 6:00 p.m, followed by networking at 7:30 p.m. Refreshments will be served and door prizes will be awarded.

To participate in the Order of the Engineer ceremony, you must provide a $25 fee and pre-certification by February 13.

Participating in the Order of the Engineer ceremony is the highlight of many students' experiences at the Clark School, and attracts alumni and others who wish to reaffirm their commitment to the field. The ceremony is followed by "Ethics and Engineering," a special presentation by Philip Tenney, Director of Ethics Operations, Lockheed Martin Corporation; and a display of student projects. ENGINEERING STUDENT COUNCIL PENNY WAR

Support your student society's favorite charity by winning the Penny War during National Engineer's Week. Each society with a lounge will have a Penny War container. The goal of Penny War is to total the most money in your container after a week. Pennies are worth $0.01, but every other coin or dollar is subtracted from your current total! Help your own society by putting pennies in your container, or reduce other societies’ totals by putting dimes, nickels, quarters, and dollars into theirs! The winning society will be announced at Casino Night on Friday at 7:00 p.m.
