Partnership for Future Engineers

Welcome

The Office of Undergraduate Advising & Academic Support (UA&AS) in the A. James Clark School of Engineering believes that establishing a partnership between our office and you (the parent and/or legal guardian of a student) is an important component of your student’s success at the University of Maryland. Thus, we are calling this part of our website “Partnerships for Future Engineers” (PFE). We hope that you will utilize this information as well as our office to foster your student's academic success.

Your role is an essential one; however, it is important for you to allow your son or daughter to find personal solutions to problems and challenges. In the Resources section below, provided for you are some University of Maryland campus offices and services to which you can direct your student based on the question he or she may have. In the Important Information section, information about Academic Advising, Policies and Procedures, and Student Involvement (specific to engineering students) is listed by academic year.
