Advising

Following these guidelines is imperative to ensure all graduation paperwork will be completed and all degree requirements will be satisfied. Ultimately, the responsibility of satisfying all degree requirements lies with the student.

The semester in which you plan to graduate

  1. Submit a Graduation Worksheet  (for the current semester). LATE Graduation Worksheets need to be submitted with a Petition for an Exception to Policy form found http://www.eng.umd.edu/advising/advising_forms.html.
  2. Review minimun requirements for graduation
  3. If completing a Minor, Double Major, Double Degree consult your advisor for that specific program regarding program requirements for graduation
  4. Complete a Senior Survey online senior survey and attach the receipt
  5. Apply online to graduate on TESTUDO no later than the LAST DAY of schedule adjustment (10 days after classes start) of the semester in which you plan to graduate. Take all completed graduation forms to the Undergraduate Advising & Academic Support Office 1131S Glenn L. Martin Hall

NOTE: Applying for your diploma does not mean that you have completed your Graduation Worksheet nor does participation in the graduation ceremony automatically guarantee graduation from the university. All requirements must be fulfilled before graduation is finally certified on the transcript.
